What to look for when buying new jewelry

Is it durable? When you buy a piece of jewelry, it should last. A good rule of thumb is that if you want a piece to last a long time, look for one that is made from quality materials. That said, there are certain types of jewelry that are more durable than others: Stainless steel is incredibly durable, it is a strong alloy that has many properties that make it ideal for jewelry. It is 100% waterproof and non tarnish, extremely strong and has an incredible shine.

Is it beautiful?

Beauty is subjective, but there are some things you can look for when you're trying to determine if a piece of jewelry is beautiful.

Does it have the details that make it unique?

For example, if you see an item with a lot of intricate detail work and fine craftsmanship, then it's likely to be more expensive than something that has less design elements. But just because it’s expensive doesn't mean it's any better than one without as many details. It all depends on what kind of style you like best!

Does it have specific meanings to you?

A lot of people think that their jewelry has meaning. This can be true, but it's also important to remember that the meaning of jewelry is different for everyone. The same person might have different meanings for the same piece of jewelry at different times in their life.

Does it fit your personality?

If you're planning on wearing your jewelry every day, it's important to make sure that it fits in with the rest of your wardrobe. If you have an extensive collection at home that doesn't fit into your everyday style, take advantage of the opportunity to switch things up! You don't have to wear all the same types of jewelry every day.

How to build a great jewelry collection

You can build a great jewelry collection by paying attention to what you need and what you have! When you're ready to start building a great jewelry collection, it's important to pay attention to what you need and what you have.

Start by thinking about what you need. Think about your daily life; Do you wear a lot of business attire? Are there any special occasions that call for elegant jewelry? Once you've identified these needs, come up with a list of questions that can help clarify them further.

For example - Do I want my jewelry box to be able to display both everyday and formal pieces at once? Will I wear more than one piece at once (a bracelet with earrings)? How much flexibility do I want in terms of accessory combinations (can I interchange necklaces with bracelets)?

Leave some room to grow

Don't buy too much at once. It's easy to get carried away when you're shopping for jewelry, especially if it's your first time. If you're looking for an earring, try on several different styles and sizes—you may discover that the one you thought was perfect looks great but doesn't stay on in the long run because of its size or shape. Or maybe it's too heavy and uncomfortable. Or maybe it just doesn't go with anything else in your wardrobe!

Don't buy something you'll never wear. When choosing a new piece of jewelry, think about whether or not this is something you would actually want to wear on an everyday basis and how often (or if ever) you will actually use it before buying it. If there is any doubt whatsoever that the item would be used regularly by its owner, then reconsider purchasing it until such time as more information has been gathered about its true value and purpose within their wardrobe.

If you are in the market for some new jewelry, it is important to know what makes a good piece of jewelry. There are many different kinds of materials that can be used to make jewelry, but each comes with its own advantages and disadvantages. Let's take a look at some of these materials so you can choose the one that is right for you!

Questions & Answers

Stainless steel is the preferred metal for many jewelry designers for a number of reasons & when compared to other metals it’s easy to see why. Stainless steel has the unique property of not oxidising or tarnishing, unlike silver, this is because of the elements used in the alloy and what makes it such a popular choice to use. Having non tarnish jewelry means you can wear it daily & keep it on when you work out, shower or swim. Stainless steel is also incredibly durable, it’s one of the strongest metals used for jewelry which gives it longevity. Stainless steel is also very affordable, in addition to the other benefits that make it great quality, it also has a fantastic price point.

Yes, we use 100% waterproof and non tarnish stainless steel. Our jewelry is suitable for wearing if you shower, swim, go to the beach or the gym. Stainless steel won’t oxidise after exposure to water so you’re safe to wear it 24/7.

Necklace lengths will largely be down to your personal preference however there are some guidelines for what is considered “too tight” firstly you will want to measure your neck in centimeters or inches and if you’re choosing a choker it’s recommended to start 1-2 inches bigger than the neck size. If you choose a size the same as your neck then it’s likely going to squeeze when clasped together and if you tilt your head back it can restrict blood flow. Check out our sizing guide for the best tips and instructions on sizing.
