The XL Cathedral Spiked Chain our signature cathedral link upscaled and redesigned. The "Cathedral" link design pulls from gothic architecture and medieval weaponry: every link carries a spike on the inside and a second on the outside, this doubled edge is what gives the cathedral chain its unique silhouette. The XL version is our third iteration of this chain link and we felt the range needed something BIG and BOLD. This isn't simply a "make it bigger" version, the XL features some new changes to the 2 previous sized Cathedral chains. The base link size was increased to 15mm but the spike proportions were scaled up even further, from the spike to spike measures a much larger 22mm, giving this chain the most vicious look of any Statement chain to date.

The chain is medium weight chain coming in at roughly 95 grams. Styled on its own over a dark outfit it takes up the whole neckline, and it holds up the thinner chains in a layered gothic stack without getting lost among them. Measuring 22mm from point to point, this is a chunky spiked chain necklace you feel sitting on your collarbone. We hand-polish and hand-assemble each link one at a time so the points stay sharp and clean.

Chains start at choker length and go up to long hanging chains. For chokers we recommend a size no smaller than 1-2 inches bigger than your neck size so there is some room for movement and it is not too tight.
